3 Things I’ve Learned:
1. I learned how to use the U.S. Census Bureau as a tool. This may sound trivial but I now know how to find updated data and can look up trends about future areas using the Census Bureau.
2. I learned many new group/ice breaking activities that I hadn’t been aware of previously.
3. I learned how to examine a community for its strengths and identify avenues of changes in communities.
One thing that I will take with me is continuing to think critically about the future communities I work in as a social worker. I know have the tools to do exactly this.
